School/education: Summerhill, Brunswick Primary, Cambridge High School for Boys, Leicester University Royal College of Art.

Thorgerson was a classmate with Roger Waters in Cambridge and after designing the cover for the first Pink floyd album he founded the designteam Hipgnosis. Storm Thorgerson has created the "look" of Pink floyd and is still their preferred designer.
