Who is who? - E

Bob Ezrin

Musician, producer

Bob Ezrin entered the Pink Floyd universe for the first time during recording of The Wall. Everyone in the group agreed that Roger Waters needed assistance in the producer role - someone who was not directly involved in the groups internal problems at the time. Waters found Ezrin through his wife Carolyne who had been working as a secretary for Ezrin at an earlier time.

Everyone also agreed that Ezrin did a good job as CO-producer and mediator. Ezrin also produced the David Gilmour solo album About Face in 1984. After the break up both Gilmour and Waters wanted Ezrin on the team. After some struggle Ezrin fell into disgrace with Roger Waters and became producer and CO-composer on the new Pink Floyd albums A Momentary Lapse Of Reason and The Division Bell.

Besides being a music producer Bob Ezrin is also a CO-owner of the software company 7th Level - the publisher of the Monty Python CD-ROM: Complete Waste of Time and the children CD-ROM: Tuneland.
