More than two hours and twenty minutes with the greatest Pink Floyd material. The 26 songs has been mixed together to one piece of continues music by producer and engineer James Guthrie. According to a press release 'Echoes was made with the active participation of David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason and Richard Wright.'

The song When The Tigers Broke Free has previously only been released on a single (Never before on CD!)

A book with tabs and music sheets has been released to accompany the Pink Floyd Compilation. The 328 page book is also titled: Pink Floyd: Echoes.

To compile this album, the original analogue master tapes were played back on custom tape machines built by The Mastering Lab (1/4 inch) and Tim de Paravicini (1/2 inch). Custom valve EQ was by Esoteric Audio Research. 24-bit Analogue to Digital converters by dB Technologies fed by SADiE workstation. Monitoring DACs were by dCS.
